Its a busy time for the industry. One indication is the increased number of pages in each issue of Render this year. For 29 years, Render has been a 32-page publication, except for the month of April, which is larger due to the inclusion of the National Renderers Association (NRA) membership directory.
Not so anymore. Four pages were added to both the February and April magazines, and a whopping 12 pages were added to Render in June.
This August publication is no exception. But we dont mind. The issues being faced by the industry are important and it is our pleasure to do everything we can to bring them to you in a timely manner.
But because it takes about three weeks to assemble the magazine, get it printed, and delivered to the U.S. Postal Service, in addition to the time it takes Render to snake its way through the mail system, sometimes news happens after Render is published. Combined with being published bi-monthly, by the time the next issue comes out, breaking news often times becomes old news.
Thats why Render has added a new feature to its Web site at www.rendermagazine.com. Simply titled, News, we will post information on the Web site that we feel is too important to wait until the next issue. Some months may have several stories posted, while at other times the industry may be quiet with nothing to report (dont we all wish for those days). Either way, well bring them to you in a timely and professional manner so you are well informed on the latest industry news.
Other features Internet surfers will find beneficial on Renders Web site include subscription information, direct links to the many supportive advertisers in Render, the NRA membership directory updated quarterly, and copies of articles that have appeared in past issues.
Take a look at what www.rendermagazine.com has to offer and let us know what you think.
