Studies Conclude the Biosafety of Spray Dried Plasma Relative to PEDv


April 23, 2014 | Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDv) is causing significanht damage and concern in the US and Canadian pork industry. Recently, spray-dried porcine plasma has been implicated as a vector responsible for the introduction of PEDv into Canada. Further scientific investigation indicates that environmental contamination is a more likely explanation.
